I started my Wellness Journey in 1996 when I became a vegetarian and remained one for 4 years. I began to understand that food is meant to sustain us, therefore we must “eat to live, not live to eat.” I worked in the natural food industry for over 20 years, and I felt a calling to help others achieve complete wellness in their lives. In 2016, I received my Health Coach Certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and I’m currently studying to receive my Certification as an Aromatherapist.
I began to both make and use wellness products as part of the healing process during a difficult time in my life and decided to share them with others. I’m a 2018 graduate of “Yoga Roots on Location” Raja Yoga Teacher Training with an Anti-Racist and Social Justice Framework and currently working on completing my Raja Yoga Teacher certification hours. I’m committed to my life’s work in assisting others develop a deeper understanding of how wellness is not just about eating healthier, but it’s about creating a healthy balance in our lives that’s centered around our spiritual, mental and physical well being.
